Martech – Taking a closer look at the Safety, Testing and Repair of the Built Environment

Martech Technical Services Ltd was established in April 2006 following a management buy-out. Formerly trading as "the Technical Division of Makers UK Ltd.", Martech has been established as the UK 's leading concrete inspection and repair consultancy specialist since July 1990.

Roel van Es, Managing Director

Roel has spent the great majority of his career in the field of concrete condition surveys and reinforcement corrosion/remediation/control. Working with Martech from its inception in 1990, Roel has headed a specialist team carrying out site surveys and producing interpretative reports based upon the findings.

Roel also sits on various key committees and working groups, in the UK and Europe, in respect of the imminent European Standards on concrete repair. He represents the UK Concrete Repair Association (CRA) on the BSI committee for concrete repair related standards.
